Attention all young women treble singers in grades 6–12!
The award-winning OK City Chorus, ranked 9th internationally by Sweet Adeline’s International, invites young voices to take part in an exciting Youth in Harmony Workshop on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at First United Methodist Church, 134 NW 4th Street, Oklahoma City.
This full-day event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a free public performance at 5 p.m. featuring the workshop chorus and the OK City Chorus.
For just $20, participants will receive:
- All-day workshop
- Sheet music and learning track recordings
- An event T-shirt
- Lunch
- The chance to perform with the internationally acclaimed OK City Chorus in a special concert for friends and family
The Youth in Harmony Workshop invites young women to discover the joy of four-part a cappella singing in the barbershop style. Participants will learn vocal techniques, harmony, and performance skills alongside members of OK City Chorus quartets and section leaders—an inspiring opportunity to experience the power of women’s voices united in harmony.
“This is a fun, supportive, and confidence-building day where young singers get to experience what it’s like to make music in harmony — literally and figuratively,” said Lacy West, vocal music director for Lawton Public Schools, who will be the facilitator for the workshop.
